WWW #13: Love

Today’s Topic: What it means to love

Love isn’t always simple. Love isn’t always easy. Yet, love is always present in everyone.

People have an unlimited ability to love other people, places, things, music, art, entertainment, ideas, concepts, stories, and anything else that’s ever existed. People can love things that are no longer around like dinosaurs and the dodo, and also things that are intangible yet recognizable, like the smell of rain or a puppy’s first bark. There’s no end to what people can love, which makes love itself endless and unbound by normal measurements.

People can love fiercely or they can love quietly; they can love openly or love in secret; they can love with their whole heart while also saving room for more; and they can overcome hate with love. It’s strange that we take love for granted in this day and age, but also understandable at the same time. Modern technology has allowed us to interact with people around the world that we never would have talked to otherwise, meaning that love can spread far and wide without limitations.

People can love despite their better judgement, and those that think they’re not worthy of love still receive it regardless. Whether it’s family, friends, acquaintances, or even strangers, there is always someone somewhere in the world with some degree of love for you.

Conclusion:

Even when we’re faced with undeniable hate, anger, rage, sadness, depression, or any other emotions that make us feel less than we are, there will always be a well of love available to anyone at anytime.
